Flood Recovery in West Virginia and Kentucky

In early February 2025, after a long weekend of intense rain, devastating flooding hit West Virginia and Kentucky. The tragic flooding left many people without food, shelter, water, medical care, and cleaning supplies.

With emergency support provided by AllPeopleBeHappy, the Williamson Health & Wellness Center provided direct flood relief by delivering food, medical supplies, and cleaning supplies throughout Mingo County, West Virginia, and Pike County, Kentucky. The assistance addressed a gap in resources for households that do not have access to flood aid. Success will be measured by documenting the services provided and resources secured, as well as the stories of impact that the team collects.
