Torey joined the AllPeopleBeHappy team in January 2020. Prior to that, she worked at a nonprofit historic museum in Arthurdale, WV, leading tours, doing educational outreach, and planning days of service learning. Torey did a year of AmeriCorps, and even participated in an AllPeopleBeHappy semester program in Cochabamba, Bolivia! All of these experiences positively impacted her and led her to pursue a career in community-based learning.

She received her BA in International Studies, with a focus on International Development, from West Virginia University, where she discovered her love of travel and connecting with people and communities around the world. Originally from Uniontown, PA, Torey now lives in Asheville, North Carolina. Torey is a lover of nature, animals, live music, and DIY projects!
