Hello, my name is Nevaeh Allen. I am 19 years old and I’m from the Navajo Nation in Tuba City AZ. Throughout my life, I’ve done volunteer work for my community through a nonprofit group called Community Action for Children and Youth (C.A.C.Y.)

C.A.C.Y. helps low income families, elders, veterans, and the disabled with all household needs such as clothes, blankets, kitchenware, toys etc. Donations come in from all over the country. I help organize and distribute these items to those who need it.

With this fellowship, I aim to strengthen my leadership skills by bringing more community members to help and learn how others help their communities.
