Announcing our Inaugural Impact Projects

On January 24, 2025, the AllPeopleBeHappy Board of Directors held its first Impact Fund Committee meeting, in which the first round of proposals for the newly merged organization were discussed. We are honored to announce our first six projects (with many more to come) for this year, spanning the globe from Bolivia to Nepal. We’ll be partnering on the following projects:

• CEOLI (Bolivia) for a project that is focused on providing comprehensive support services to young adults with Down syndrome
• Nido De Vida (Ecuador) for a community-university partnership around the development of a new aquaponics system, in collaboration with the University of Illinois’ College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences
• Rukmini Foundation (Nepal) in support of their Community Health Impact Project which looks to improve health outcomes in students
• Caras Con Causa (Puerto Rico) for a project focusing on Environmental Field Experiences for the Urban Reforestation of Cataño, Puerto Rico
• FADECO (Tanzania) in support of a project to educate and train local farms on climate-smart agriculture
• OffGridBox (Tanzania) to support refurbishment and revitalization of already-installed containers that provide solar energy and clean water to three island communities on Lake Victoria in Tanzania
