Impact Projects, Round Two: Six More Projects Approved

The AllPeopleBeHappy Impact Fund Committee voted to approve six more projects at their meeting on April 29! In addition to the first round of projects, which are still underway, we’ll be partnering on the following projects in communities across our global network:

• Collateral Repair Project (Jordan) for a project empowering teenagers to become advocates for environmental stewardship and sustainable living
• OffGridBox (Tanzania) for a continuation of their project to refurbish and revitalize containers for solar energy and clean water, which will benefit an additional 3,000 people in the region
• Rukmini Foundation (Nepal) in support of the second phase of their Community Health Impact Project (CHIP), which received funding in the first round
• Visions Global Empowerment (Sri Lanka) for their Young Leaders Realizing Dreams project on life skills and leadership development school students from 15 underprivileged schools
• Welfare of Children and Youth Association (Ghana) for a project to improve sick bay healthcare in high schools of Afadjato South District, Volta Region in response to urgent health concerns raised by students and staff
• Yspaniola (Dominican Republic) in support of a multifaceted waste management and environmental education program designed to create lasting environmental change
